This page explains what information we take from you when you deal with Guarantee Car Service, whether through guarantee-car.com or when you call or message us on WhatsApp, and what we do with it. It is written in plain language, because that is how we prefer to deal with people.

“We” means Guarantee Car Service, the car inspection centre in Nasr City, Cairo. “You” means anyone using the site or booking an inspection. We handle your personal information in line with Egyptian personal data protection law.

What information we take

We take the information you give us yourself, and we need it in order to carry out the inspection:

Your name and phone number when you call or send a WhatsApp message to book an inspection, so that we can get back to you and send you the report.
The car details — make, model and year, and where the car is if the inspection is a mobile one, because the engineer cannot reach it otherwise.
Your email address if you write to us by email.
Technical information collected automatically as you browse the site, such as browser and device type and the pages you opened. We see this as aggregate figures, not tied to any individual.

We do not ask you for identity document numbers, bank account details or payment card details through this website, and you should not send them to us.

What we use it for

Carrying out the inspection you asked for and handing you the technical report.
Contacting you about the booking: confirming the time, or agreeing where the car will be.
Answering any question raised after the inspection about a report we issued.
Meeting the legal and accounting obligations placed on us.
Looking at aggregate site usage to work out which pages are useful to visitors and which are not. Nothing in that analysis identifies you.

If you have agreed to receive messages about services and offers, we may contact you from time to time. You can withdraw that agreement whenever you like, either by telling us or through the unsubscribe link in any message we send you.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to third parties for their own marketing.

We share it only in these cases:

Service providers working on our behalf, such as website hosting and analytics tools, who handle the information only on our instructions and may not use it for any other purpose.
Where the law requires it, or where a competent authority formally requests it.
Where we need to protect our rights, our property or the safety of our customers.
If the business is sold or transferred in future, customer information may transfer with it, and this policy would continue to apply to it.

Cookies

This site uses cookies, which are small text files your browser stores on your device. They let the site recognise a returning visitor, and they let us measure site usage in aggregate.

How long we keep it

Booking and inspection records are kept for as long as we need them to answer any question about a report we issued, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. After that they are deleted.

Your rights over your information

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, so it is worth reviewing it occasionally. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the policy as it stands at that time.
