This guide explains what moves the price of a pre-purchase car inspection in Egypt, how to compare offers properly, and how to get your own figure before you travel anywhere.

Four things shape the cost. We ask about all four before we quote.
Two cars can both be booked as “full inspection” and still need very different amounts of work. A recent car with simple electronics is quicker than a twelve year old European car with many control units. That is why a fair price depends on the car.
It helps to know what each level gives you before you compare prices.
The cheapest option is not the cheapest outcome. A quick check that misses a repaired chassis or a failing gearbox can cost you many times the difference in price, and it leaves you with nothing in writing.
At our centre in Nasr City, all the equipment and the lift are in place and the car comes to us. This is normally the lower-cost option. The only difficulty is getting the seller to agree to move the car, and not every seller will.
With our mobile inspection, the engineer comes to the car anywhere in Cairo, Giza and nearby areas. It costs a little more because of the travel and the portable equipment, but it solves two problems: you do not have to convince the seller to hand over a car that is not yet yours, and you see the car in its normal place.
If the seller is happy to come to the centre, that is the better route. If the seller avoids it or insists on one particular spot, that tells you something, and we can come to you.
That last point matters. Our price is the same whether the car turns out spotless or damaged. We do not earn more when we find problems, and we do not earn less when we find none. Our only interest is an accurate report.
Put two numbers side by side: the price of the inspection and the price of a wrong purchase. A damaged chassis, a failing gearbox or a car with a rolled back odometer will not just cost you repairs. It will also reduce what the car is worth when you come to sell it.
In most cases, the inspection costs a small fraction of the car’s price. If it helps you avoid one serious problem, or helps you negotiate a lower price, it has paid for itself.
Short answers to the most common questions are in the car inspection FAQ.
If you want the checks that come before the inspection, see what to inspect on a used car, which also answers the question of purchase car inspection cost in Cairo.
Call or message us on WhatsApp at +20 122 237 3204 (01222373204) with four details: the make and model, the year, the type of inspection you want, and where the car is. We reply with the price and a time slot before you move.
Compare that with any other quote by asking the same four questions: does it include a lift, a paint thickness gauge, a computer scan and a written report? If any answer is no, you are not comparing like with like.
