The centre is at 16 Ibn Qutayba, behind the International Garden, in Nasr City. It has the lift, paint gauge and diagnostic equipment needed for a full inspection, which makes it the best place to check the chassis, suspension and underside of the car.
If the seller can bring the car to Nasr City, this is usually the more economical choice.
Many sellers will not move a car that has not been sold, or they simply live far from the centre. For that case we have a mobile inspection service. The engineer arrives with the diagnostic computer and measuring equipment, inspects the car where it stands, and gives you the same written report.
The mobile service covers Cairo, Giza and the nearby areas, including New Cairo, Maadi and the Suez Road. If you are not sure whether your area is covered, send us the location and we will confirm.
If a seller refuses every location except one of their choosing, take note. That alone does not mean the car is bad, but it is worth asking why.
The inspection is the same in both places: chassis, paint thickness, engine, gearbox, suspension, brakes, electrics and a computer scan of stored fault codes, with a written report and photos at the end. The detail is in our guide to the pre-purchase car inspection in Egypt.
You can watch the inspection from start to finish. Most buyers find it useful to see the problem with their own eyes, rather than reading about it later.
A full inspection usually takes between half an hour and an hour and a half, depending on the car. At the end you receive a written report with photos that lists each point checked and its condition. You can show it to the seller, keep it for your records, or use it to negotiate the price.
It is better if you are, but it is not required. If you cannot attend, tell us what worries you about the car and we will make sure the report answers it.
Yes. If you are choosing between two cars, inspect both. Comparing two reports is the clearest way to see which car is the better purchase.
That is information in itself. A seller who is confident in the car usually has no reason to refuse. If the seller will only allow a check at a place of their own choosing, our mobile service can come to that place.
No. We only inspect and report, which is why there is no incentive to exaggerate or hide anything. You can take the report to any workshop you like.
