This guide covers how to choose a car inspection company near Al Warraq and what to ask before you book.
Al Warraq is part of Giza, which our mobile inspection covers. The engineer comes with the scanner and measuring equipment and checks the car where it stands. Call with the exact location so we can confirm access and plan the time. Our hours are every day from 12 noon to midnight.
Our centre is in Nasr City, at 16 Ibn Qutayba, behind the International Garden. If the seller agrees to bring the car, the lift gives the engineer the best view of the underside and suspension. If not, the mobile service is the sensible choice.
The detail on each is in what a full car inspection includes. A computer check alone is possible, though we recommend the full inspection.
A quick check at a fuel station is better than nothing, but it is limited in scope and equipment, and it is a first look rather than a decision. If you are choosing between that and a full inspection at the car, the full inspection protects far more money. See car inspection stations in Egypt.
Some sellers say no, or keep postponing. Take that seriously. A seller with an honest car usually has little reason to refuse a check that you pay for. You can decide the car is not worth the risk and look at another one.
The engineer arrives at the agreed time, checks the papers and the chassis and engine numbers, runs the computer scan, then works through the body, paint, engine, gearbox, suspension, brakes and fluids. You receive a written report afterwards and the engineer explains anything unclear. The whole inspection takes between half an hour and an hour and a half.
